See this video from Nespresso on their YouTube channel. . They clearly say red/green means descale. So I ran full descale operation and thorough rinse cycle. Ran a second descale operation. The red/green light is still on. Rats.

Red and Yellow (not green) light coming on when turning the machine on. This is the THIRD time this has happened to my machine. The first two times I had to box it up and send it back to Nespresso which meant I didnt have the machine for 4 -5 weeks.

So the cause of issue is that after running a descaling/rinse cycle, be sure to MANUALLY EXIT special mode by pressing button and lever at the same time for three seconds until you see full green circle flashes.
