the best 4.5 grinders meet 90% of hand grinder needs. the big ones are reserved for the jobs that would melt a smaller grinder down like heavy mill scale .rust on large surface areas, heavy sanding ect. There is no way that a 5 lb 6 amp grinder will move metal like a 15 lb 15 amp grinder but equally that small grinder fits into tight spots.
