I've been grinding on my Baratza Virtuoso (very similar to the Encore) for V60 drip coffee on a grind setting of 18. I always felt that my brews were pretty good, just not quite right. Based on this post, I dialled it up to 22.

I recently bought a Baratza Encore as it is highly liked in this subreddit, but I can't seem to figure out the right grind setting. The recommended setting is 15 by Baratza I think, but when I tried it, I ended up getting an over-extracted cup of coffee. Any help would be appreciated :) 21 comments
